The graphic novels are a continuation of the story and I'm told one of them answers a very important question left at the end of the show. If you want to spend some "quality time" with your kids (we thought it was at least) go watch the show and you'll thank us later :)

The Avatar
When we talk of family traditions, many family have fun and wacky ones related to holidays or birthdays. Our family has good TV watching time as bad as that sounds. We are all in the same room and watching the same show, even discussing it afterwards so it counts as a tradition, right? The show of choice recently has been Avatar: The Last Airbender found on Amazon Prime.
Don't get this confused with the James Cameron movie Avatar or the horrible movie they tried to make out of the series. For a kids show, it was deep and at the end of the three complete seasons we were left wanting more. That more has come in the form of graphic novels and this is what our kids could be found doing today after lunch.

Cheesecake
It's that time again when Eric gets to make me cheesecake since I don't know how (or have turned the job over to him and so never properly learned). The concoctions for this year were:
Dulce de Leche Cheesecake Bars
Brownie Swirl Cheesecake
Toasted Coconut Raspberry Cheesecake (made by a good friend)
