All in a Day's work

Sunday our ward split off in a two for three split moving us into a brand new ward and I got released from my calling as Relief Society president so yesterday I was feeling pretty good and energized.  These are the products of that energy.

Rachel's 100th day project.  I was so happy with my artistic endeavor on this one.  When I have a picture to copy I can actually "draw".
A year's worth of holiday pillowcases for my niece who's graduating from high school in a few months (minus Halloween as I couldn't find that material).  Not a bad way to spend watching the season finale of Downton Abby.

Valentines Day

If Halloween and Christmas don't send our children into sugar induced comas, February brings Valentines Day.  I was able to go to Evelyn's preschool party but forgot the camera, couldn't go to Rachel's since it was the same time, but Evelyn and I went to Elizabeth's class party.
Elizabeth with her heart candy collection bag
And our princess Evelyn with her court of stuffed animals.  I can't get over how cute this girl can be as she asked for lipstick to go with her princess outfit and yes, I caved in but who wouldn't with her smile and cuteness?

Cheesecake!

Instead of celebrating birthdays, I now celebrate cheesecake days.  This year did not disappoint as Eric made a delicious pumpkin cheesecake with sour cream topping and my friend Amelia made a Snickers cheesecake. I am going to have to run a lot of miles to work off all those yummy calories but it was worth it!

I also made some friends test their Jenga skills
And marshmallow and toothpick tower building skills
What can I say?  I thought I wanted to be an architect when I grew up since I loved playing with Legos.
